SNI’s community building program aims to empower the Sea Gypsy community in Thailand by providing them with the resources and skills they need to improve their lives. The project includes a range of initiatives, including education and skills training programs, community development projects, and microfinance programs.

The Sea Gypsy community on Kho Lanta, Thailand, is one of the most marginalized and disadvantaged communities in the country. The Sea Gypsies, also known as Chao Leh, are an ethnic minority group with a unique cultural heritage and way of life. However, they face a host of challenges that threaten their way of life, including poverty, discrimination, and lack of access to education and basic services.

Through these initiatives, SNI is working to help build a more sustainable and prosperous future. By providing the resources and support they need, we are ensuring that the Sea Gypsy can continue to thrive and preserve their unique cultural heritage.
