Through strategic partnerships with local NGOs and organizations, SNI delivers essential resources such as food, shelter, medical supplies, and other critical provisions to the affected communities, bringing hope and relief to those in desperate need.
In response to the 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquake, SNI swiftly mobilized and collaborated with local partner NGOs in the southern region of Turkey, including Anthioch, Adana, Kırıkhan, Reyhanli, and other affected areas close to the Syrian border. The priority was to address the urgent needs of the affected communities, providing them with the essential resources required for survival and recovery. SNI coordinated the delivery of vital aid, including food, shelter, medical supplies, and other critical provisions.
SNI’s impact was felt beyond the distribution of aid. By collaborating with partner organizations, Safe Haven For Refugees along with Her Sey Bir Gulucuk Icin Dernegi (Anything For A Smile Association, in Adana, Turkey), SNI ensured that the relief efforts were targeted and efficient, reaching those who needed it the most. This collaborative approach strengthened the local capacity to respond to future disasters and built resilience within the communities.
Recognizing the challenges faced by Syrian refugees and displaced communities in Turkey, SNI has been actively involved in supporting initiatives that aim to rebuild lives and foster self-sufficiency. By partnering with local organizations working on the ground, SNI provides assistance in areas such as education, healthcare, livelihood support, and housing.
