Rise Above Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for underprivileged communities in the Philippines. Since its establishment in 2000, the organization has provided educational opportunities, livelihood training, and health and hygiene programs.
Rise Above Foundation Cebu connects and cooperates with volunteers from all over the world, facilitating their work and accommodations in the Philippines. The organization establishes contact with schools and institutions for students participating in the internship program and provides free treatment and oral education to underprivileged children and adolescents through Dental Missions.
The foundation envisions an improved quality of life for those struggling with poverty in the Philippines. Its mission is to enable the next generation of the Philippines to rise above the challenges of the future through access to education, livelihood, and healthcare. The foundation aims to improve the poor condition of the people in the Philippines by providing community-based programs and services on education and training, health and hygiene, and creative livelihood opportunities.
Sponsorship Network International has been playing a pivotal role in supporting Rise Above Foundation Cebu, Inc. since its establishment. The organization has contributed to a number of impactful projects and helped create positive change in the lives of the underprivileged through donations and assistance. SNI’s support was instrumental in the renovation of the Rise Above Community Center, creating a safe and conducive environment for children’s growth and development.
In response to termite damage, SNI supported the foundation by covering the costs of renovating the dormitory building and constructing a new septic tank. The renovation and construction work, undertaken by skilled builders and dedicated volunteers, were successfully completed. SNI’s contribution also played a crucial role in maintaining the foundation’s programs and services, safeguarding the well-being of the beneficiaries.
Additionally, SNI’s support extended to the acquisition of a new multi-purpose vehicle, enabling efficient transportation of goods and materials to needy areas and project sites, ensuring the smooth delivery of aid and support to those in need.
Dental missions have been a significant initiative of Rise Above Foundation Cebu, Inc., providing essential dental treatment and education to individuals who lack access to such services. SNI’s contributions have made these dental missions possible, bringing relief and improving oral health for those who cannot afford dental care.
