The ‘Save the Youth’ association has been operating in Madagascar since 1998. Their project involves assisting orphanages and jails with basic supplies such as: food, school supplies, winter clothes, hygiene items, and building needs, etc., as well as caring for those living in the slums such as widows, abandoned mothers and their children.

In October 2016, ‘Save the Youth’ started working on a construction project at two public schools. One school was entirely destroyed by a cyclone two years ago and needs complete reconstruction; the second has 600 children, but has only 6 school rooms, which are overcrowded. To remedy the situation four large school rooms are being built, above the present school building, as well as a new dining hall, so the children can fit comfortably.

With the donations from our faithful sponsors these children are able to have the education they long for and that they deserve, in order to break the cycle of poverty and enable them to have a better life than their parents.
