Michel in Brazil for a whirlwind stopover

We’re thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our partnership with Associação Projetos Humanitários Brasil. SNI’s founder recently visited Brazil after over a decade of unwavering support, surveying firsthand the transformative impact of our collaboration.

SNI’s focus is on empowering communities through educational initiatives. Together, we’ve been able to implement a range of educational initiatives in rural areas, empowering communities and changing lives for the better.

One of the highlights of our partnership has been the provision of free ongoing computer literacy courses providing young people – who otherwise never get a chance to study on a computer or laptop,-  valuable skills for this digital age. These courses not only enhance employment opportunities but also open doors to new possibilities and avenues for personal growth.

In addition to computer literacy, our joint efforts have focused on life skills training and job placement support, empowering individuals to secure sustainable livelihoods and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Now, we’re excited to expand our efforts with plans for English as a second language courses, aiming to open doors to global opportunities for community members.

This visit reaffirms our commitment to continue creating positive change in Brazil, securing education to provide a way out of transgenerational poverty and crime.

SNI supports Turkey with aid packages

Sponsorship Network International remains steadfast in our commitment to providing aid to Syrian refugee families who have endured the devastating effects of war. The impact of conflict has left many families displaced and struggling, particularly in neighboring countries like Turkey, where the refugee crisis has had a profound effect.

In addition to supporting Syrian refugees, we continue to aid the people of Turkey following the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that left millions dispossessed. The earthquake has compounded the challenges faced by communities already grappling with the effects of vulnerability, scarcity and instability. Our efforts include distributing food boxes and traditional Ramadan staples, aiming to alleviate food insecurity and provide comfort to those in need.

We’re proud to collaborate with Safe Haven for Refugees – Anything for a Smile, our local partner NGO, providing medical homes for child cancer patients from war-torn Syria. These homes offer vital medical care and support services, serving as a beacon of hope for children and families facing unimaginable challenges.

As we reflect on the values of compassion and solidarity, we’re reminded of the urgent need to stand with those who have been affected by conflict, displacement, and natural disasters. By coming together and offering our support, we are providing relief and hope, helping rebuild lives and creating a brighter future. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supporters and partners who make this work possible.

Bringing Hope to Uganda: Our Recent Quest

We’re thrilled to share the impact of our recent journey to Uganda, where we brought hope and assistance to those in need. Our mission took us to the capital, Kampala and to the Fort Portal region near the East Congo border. We encountered both the breathtaking landscapes and the pressing challenges faced by local communities.

Uganda is home to some of the largest refugee populations globally, a stark reminder of the ongoing conflicts that have plagued the region for decades. Most refugees come from South Sudan (57%), the Democratic Republic of the Congo (32%), Somalia (3%), and Burundi (3%), all in search of safety and stability.

Despite these challenges, our team with ‘Anything for a Smile’ – the partnering NGO and other local organizations and volunteers, – made a meaningful impact. We conducted hospital visits, providing essential medical care and health education to those in need. Additionally, we brightened pediatric wards with vibrant mural paintings, bringing joy and comfort to young patients and their families in their time of need.

Our efforts extended beyond healthcare, as we also visited rural schools to provide educational support and resources to underserved children. These visits were particularly poignant as we witnessed firsthand the resilience and determination of young students and teachers in the face of poor conditions and adversity.

Our collaboration with the medical team was instrumental in ensuring our efforts reached remote villages and underserved populations, reflecting our commitment to leaving no one behind.

As we reflect on our journey, we recognize that the need for ongoing support within Africa , as well as in Uganda is imminent. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who supported us and urge continued solidarity in our shared mission of compassion and service.

Stay tuned for more updates on our efforts and how you can get involved in bringing hope to communities in Africa!

Türkiye – Coloring the World of Hospitals

Amidst the backdrop of seismic challenges in Turkey, a noble initiative is underway. In response to the heartfelt plea echoing from hospital corridors marked by the tremors of the five February earthquakes, a poignant endeavor takes center stage.

Facilitated by “Anything for a Smile/Safe Haven For Refugees,” our partner non-profit organization, diligent efforts are underway to imbue the lives of young patients with a burst of joy through captivating wall murals.

With a spirit of compassion, this endeavor has embraced the call and journeyed to Malatya, nestled in the eastern reaches of Türkiye. The significance of cultivating an uplifting ambiance for these resilient children resonates deeply.

Unique Character-building through Sports – in Hungary

The Inter Campus Hungary Camp is an annual initiative that provides underprivileged children with a unique sports and character-building experience. This commitment extends beyond the Summer camp’s duration, as children also participate in weekly football and community building classes organized in their respective neighborhoods throughout the entire year.

In August of this year, the camp unfolded on the eastern front of Hungary, a mere 20 kilometers from the Romanian border, nestled within the enchanting sports fields of Morotva Liget, Berettyóújfalu.

Through collaborative efforts between Sponsorship Network Intl, Love is the Answer Association our local partner, and dedicated volunteers, the camp utilized sports to instill values, teamwork, and lasting positive impacts.
